Kyle Cassidy has been documenting American subcultures for two decades. He's photographed goths, punks, metalheads, cutters, gun owners, politicians, as well as more prosaic subjects.

His last book, the critically acclaimed, Armed America: Portraits of Gun Owners in Their Homes,  was published by Krause Books in August of 2007.

His photographs have appeared in The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Sunday Times of London, The New York Post, Newsweek, and others.

He lives in Philadelphia with a bunch of cats.
