37th and Spruce, May 16, 2007 6:40 am
An argument broke out on the Eastbound platform of the 37th street trolly station at 6:40 in the morning of May 16. One man drew a gun and fired at least ten shots, eight of which stuck 23 year old Derrick Nalley in the chest. He died at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital about 90 minutes later. Another man, 34 year old Joseph Quinn, was grazed along the back by a single bullet. He was treated and released. The gunman remains at large.
