21st and Pine, November 1995
The body of 26 year old Kimberly Ernest was found in a stairwell along the posh 2100 block of Pine Street, beaten to death. The murder of the "center city jogger" gripped the city. Two local thugs were quickly arrested in connection with her death, acquitted and released. Her killer remains at large.
