We have five rocking chairs, we use them every day. I got this one from my parents when I was twelve. We were in upstate New York and we saw it at a farm auction and I wanted it. My father bought it for me and we drove it back in his Volkswagen van, I rocked the whole way home in it. The little chair belonged to my grandfather -- he was one of eleven children, and his grandmother before him. It dates back to the mid 1800's.
